Text search ranks the best matches first
An Apps text search without a sort now puts the best matches first instead of only lifting records that hold the whole phrase. The words together as typed beat the words apart, a word that starts or is a whole word beats one found inside another word, and a match in a short text field (a title, a name) beats one in rich text; ties still go newest first. Which records match is unchanged, so a declared search index still serves the search.
