A Get started checklist, and $5 of starter credit for new teams
A new project's Overview walks through adding credit, creating a key and sending the first request, with a ready-to-copy snippet in curl, TypeScript or Python, and ticks each step off as it happens. New teams can claim $5 of starter credit by saving a card, which isn't charged, so the first requests work before paying.
The checklist shows until the project's first request arrives, and can be dismissed. While it waits for that request, the page checks for it every few seconds.
The starter credit is claimed by an owner, admin or billing admin with a verified email, once per team and once per card; prepaid cards can't claim it. It lasts 30 days, spending counts against it first, and what is unspent then leaves the balance. Credit you added yourself is never taken.
