Your own Markdown in theme guides

Add notes to a guide's overview or to any section, block or group of theme settings, above what Auditor wrote, below it, or in place of its summary. Write them in the dashboard, or keep them in the repository under .ib/.

Notes are written in Markdown in a repository's Theme docs settings, with a preview before you save. They show on the page they belong to and are found by the guide's search.

A repository can keep them as files instead: .ib/overview.md, and .ib/sections/, .ib/blocks/ or .ib/settings/ with a file named for the page. Each run reads them from the default branch. A note costs nothing: the model that writes the guide never reads it.
